Overview
Fantastic broad finance role, managing a team of accountants (AP, treasury, Management accounts & commercial finance) You will business partner with the heads of department as well as providing key commercial and strategic input to the COO to aid decision making. You will need to be commercially savvy as you will have the autonomy to make business critical decisions yourself and really implement change and cost saving solutions. You will also need to be a strong technical & deadline driven accountant and enjoy improving financial systems and reporting. Please note this is a 12 month fixed term contract The role UK statutory accounting Budgeting & forecasting and work closely with heads of departments Financial planning & analysis Cash flow management Review payroll files, staff forecasting and resourcing Lead, manage and develop your finance team including appraisals Represent finance in monthly head of department meetings Make sure all accounting compliance and reports are adhered to Managing the audit process and over see year end accounting procedure (including tax) The person Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Experience implementing finance systems would be helpful but not vital Experience managing and developing a finance team Commercial thinker with business partnering skills Pro-active approach to tasks Due to the large volume of applications we can only respond to candidates who match the brief.
