Overview

Our client specialises in communication and societal engagement that brings tangible results for complex infrastructure and development projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an approachable and highly organised administrator to work as part of our new finance team. As Finance Assistant, you will support all activities undertaken by the Financial Controller and provide general support as required to the wider office. A knowledge of Paprika and experience of working in an agency, consultancy or media environment is preferred. Main responsibilities Provide day-today financial administration support to the consultancy Manage the purchase order process Preparing and issuing of invoices including liaison with account teams to ensure correct billing Credit control Manage the data input of third-party costs, remittances and invoices Managing freelance costs and invoices including timesheet analysis Manage the processing and tracking staff expenses Prepare account analysis as required to support the Financial Controller Acting as a business partner to the business and account teams on finance issues General office support to include: Administrative support to the account teams Co-ordinating travel arrangements for the Directors Co-ordinating meeting room diaries Managing stationery and office supplies Providing ad hoc support as required by the Financial Controller Able to deputise for the Financial Controller in their absence Skills required Finance experience, ideally in an agency, consultancy or media environment Analytical approach with attention to detail and focus on accuracy A highly organised self-starter with a pro-active approach to their work Knowledge of Microsoft Office. A working knowledge of Paprika is preferred.
