Head Chef - Stowe On The Wold - 4 day week We are looking for a head chef to take on the kitchen at this outstanding retirement village set in the picturesque village of Stow on the wold. Established over 20 years ago and set in 10 acres of stunning grounds, this place offers a retirement lifestyle like nowhere else. They are now looking for a seasoned head chef to take the reigns and maintain the high quality food for their residents. The numbers aren't huge but the quality is second to none. You will cook for around 80 people per day across breakfast, lunch and dinner, using the finest fresh fish, meat and veg. You must be able to produce a menu a week in advance using, fresh, seasonal and local produce. This head chef position will suit a head chef from a rosette background that is looking to reduce their working hours for a better work life balance. You will work 4 days a week between the hours of 7.30 - 5.30 to include alternative weekends but will have 3 days off every week. If you currently work in a kitchen with a 2 AA rosettes or more and would like to reduce your hours and have more of a structured rota this will be perfect for you.
