Overview

T2M Resourcing have been retained to recruit a Divisional Head of Finance for this highly successful and rapidly growing company. With divisional turnover that will this year grow to c£50m the business is in a period of challenging growth and transformation. The Head of Finance is a critical appointment to support the Group Finance Director and ensure robust financial reporting, control and governance for the division. The Head of Finance will be accountable for the following: Full responsibility for managing and developing the finance staff into a high performing and motivated team. This will include coaching and training current staff as well as hiring new 'high potential' finance team members Ensure robust financial control, reporting and compliance Deliver timely and insightful management accounts, analysis and KPI reviews to the Senior Management Team Completion of all statutory accounts and returns including tax, NI and VAT Support and challenge the management teams across the group including delivery of budgets, forecasts, business plans and F P & A Develop strong stakeholder relationships across the division, raising the profile of the finance function as an 'added value' rather than 'transaction support' function Manage external auditor relationships Cash and working capital management / Treasury Support M&A activity in terms of business integration Development of systems and processes to improve consistency and efficiency Ad-hoc projects and ongoing 'right hand’ support to the Group FD and leadership team This Head of Finance appointment role requires a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA , CIMA or equivalent) with an exceptional career track record to date and proven ability of finance leadership within a highly commercial and evolving business. Specific skills and experience we seek include: Must have experience with the proven ability to lead and develop a finance function that has included change management / business transformation and integration. Candidates must have worked in a group and / or Plc environment, ideally within B2B services, engineering or similar sector. Technically excellent and up to date with reporting standards with prior experience of implementing robust financial processes and controls across a group of companies Operationally active - this role needs a Head of Finance who will get into the detail and sort out issues at grass roots level Highly self- accountable but equally a team player / trusted business expert Agile, flexible and influential with a pro-active and decisive manner Exceptional communication skills with natural ability to build relationships and credibility across the operating businesses Able to manage external auditors, regulatory and HMRC relationships Great planning and organisational skills The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, company car, bonus, pension and health cover.
