The Role As their Continuous Improvement Manager / Six Sigma Black Belt, you'll report into the Manufacturing Manager and take ownership of driving and facilitating continuous improvement within the Accolate Park operation, which is the largest bottling plant in the whole of the Northern Hemisphere. Your key duties will include (but won't be limited to) the following: Implementing and sustaining a lean culture within operations through a variety of methods including lean events, team improvement projects and training workshops / courses Employing tools and methodologies that drive the elimination of waste and produce measurable productive gains Acting as an internal Lean Consultant to support management with the development and implementation of a Lean Enterprise across the site and long term across the business. Identifying opportunities to implement common processes and best practices from other sites and businesses Running the monthly lean meeting and lean inductions Raising the profile of Lean within the business You… To succeed within the role of Continuous Improvement Manager / Six Sigma Black Belt you'll need to have a strong background of lean implementation within a manufacturing environment along with a data driven approach. A lean qualification (such as a Six Sigma Black Belt) would certainly hold you in good stead.
