Overview

Our client a large and growing Media business is seeking a Credit Controller to joining their successful and growing finance team. Reporting into the Credit Manager, the enthusiastic Credit Controller will support the finance team who have responsibility for timely and accurate processing of key business transactions. Key duties will include. but not be limited too; Credit Control including assisting at monthly Credit Control meetings with BU heads and distributing client statements at month end Project Maintenance including setting up new projects and entering budgets on the accounting system Accurate drafting, processing, and posting of Sales invoices Managing the UK sales ledger and reviewing the UK Aged Debtors listing on a regular basis, investigating aged/debit balances and performing Client statement reconciliations Liaising with external debtors and internal consultants as required Ensuring Accounts Receivable month-end close is performed on a timely and accurate basis Serving as a point of contact with the consultancy business for resolution of Accounts Receivable queries Dealing with general queries received through the Finance helpdesk Assisting in the preparation of the daily cashbook for allocation of AR receipts Other ad hoc tasks as requested by senior accounts receivable and the management accounts team Key Requirements; Have a basic understanding around financial transactions, ideally with at least six month’s experience in an Credit Control role Strong Excel skills Ability to self-manage, prioritise and organise Strong communications skills
