HGV TECHNICIAN Irthlingborough NN9 5QQ Skilled £34,000 45 Hrs Overtime - Semi-Skilled £28,000 45 Hrs Overtime Freightroute Ltd, are a family owned major player in the Express Pallet Distribution sector with over 420 employees, a fleet of 180 LGVs and 100 trailers processing up to 3500 pallets per night within their own network of ten depots across the UK. We are currently seeking additional daytime HGV Technicians / Mechanics (skilled and semi-skilled) to join our branch based in Irthlingborough. Your duties will be the full servicing and maintenance of our fleet of DAF vehicles and trailers including pre-MOT inspections and preparation work. Shift times available Monday to Friday 06.00 - 16.00 or 07.00 - 17.00. Overtime available. Pay rates dependant on experience Skilled: £14.53 basic, weekday overtime £16.50 ph, Saturdays £20.00 ph Semi-skilled: £11.97 basic, weekday overtime £14.37 ph, Saturdays £17.68 ph HGV Technician / Mechanic Requirements The successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and qualifications in a similar role. A Class 1 licence would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given to the right person.
