Stantec currently have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Support Administrator to join us in Glasgow. We have worked hard to establish our presence in the local and national markets and now we look forward to a period of continued growth. Based in our brand-new office off George Square, you will play an important role in supporting our local and national bidding function. Our office is centrally located, near to the city’s cultural and retail attractions, and the mainline rail stations are only a short walk away. From providing the planning application for the Arran Distillery to working with the University of Glasgow to create a strategic travel plan—we have been very much involved with our clients in this area and have built great relationships in both the public and private sectors. As our Bid Support Administrator, you will be part of our national bid team and you will be involved in supporting a range of regional and national, public/private sector bids in the UK. You will work closely with the technical teams in our regional offices and help deliver high quality bid submission documents. About You We are looking for someone that is passionate about bidding with some of the following skills and experience: Experience in a previous bidding / administrative role Ability to work collaboratively with both internal clients and external clients Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple conflicting deadlines Excellent written English skills and attention to detail Previous experience of the Adobe Creative Cloud combined with a creative flair Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, together with advanced computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and the Adobe Creative Cloud.
