Financial controller - 6month FTC Global media organisation £70-£75k I'm currently working with a leading global media organisation known for having fantastic opportunities for progression - they are truly brilliant for promoting from within and moving people internally so definitely a good one to get a foot in the door with This role will take ownership of the financial/management accounting with a strong focus on developing their processes, looking to make improvements to their reporting and drive efficiencies. Responsibilities: oEnsure consistent, accurate and timely reporting oReview and finalise monthly management accounting for revenue and costs oReview and approve reporting on changes to revenue, costs and expenses, and balance sheet lines, Month-on-month, Year to date and against Forecast oCash flow forecasting oReview of client revenues, which includes overseeing the accrued and deferred income balance sheet accounts oWork with the business each month, to create reliable and accurate revenue accruals oContinuous improvements in the processes for reporting Revenues oManagement review and approval of payroll oPreparation of management information for key stakeholders and senior management oDeliver improvements highlighted by internal or external audit teams oAssist external auditors in conducting the annual financial audits oAssist with any projects, particularly process standardisation oLine management, coaching Key Requirements: • Qualified Accountant • Experience in completion of statutory accounts submissions • Proven track record of process improvement in a complex environment • Excellent IT skills and good levels of Excel knowledge
