Overview
Financial Controller Role Description The TFS Healthcare group encompasses five legal companies with 150 staff, payrolling 1,000 nurses per week and annualised turnover in excess of £50M. To support the rapid growth this role, reporting to the Finance Director will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the business finances and support the FD to achieve the business goals. Duties Include Weekly account reconciliations (bank, loans and intercompany) Maintain balance sheet working papers Prepare quarterly VAT and intermediary returns Prepare a four weekly payroll including commission calculations & AE pension Bi-monthly audit of the supply chain Liaise with sales and operations teams to deliver requested information Prepare 4 weekly management accounts Maintain excellent filing of all accounts payable, contracts and tax reporting information Support the Finance Director to deliver business goals Experience & skills Self-starter Advanced excel user, MS access (desirable) Detailed understanding of UK payroll and pension requirements Able to identify problems and suggest solutions Be an agent for change and support change Excellent organisational and filing skills Sage50 or equivalent package Takes pride in great work, able to prioritise workload and delivers results CIMA or ACCA qualified What TFS Healthcare can offer Employee assistance program.
