Overview

Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager - Stirling Salary 16ph for a basic 48 hour week plus overtime Supernumerary: 24 hours per payroll month Home, based in Blanefield, provides the highest quality care and accommodation for a total of 40 elderly guests, and is surrounded by picturesque scenery, within easy reach of local amenities. Care of Older People is an integral division of our client and their Home provides nursing care and support for all their guests along with a team of staff who deliver direct relationship-centered care in small units. The majority of their residents have complex nursing and care needs. The delivery of clinical and personal care to the residents whilst maintaining independence, dignity and respect is the prime focus of this role. The Role The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of care within the Home including deployment and supervision of staff and the teaching of students, when required. They will be required to meet the operational needs of the service in line with our clients philosophy of care and within their Policies and Procedures. The Deputy/Clinical Manger has management responsibility for all clinical staff throughout the 24 hour period including, Registered Nurses, Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants in the absence of the Manager. Essential education and qualifications Educated to degree level (or equivalent) Current NMC registration Evidence of recent CPD 3 years post registration experience desirable along with a working knowledge of the NMC Code including up to date knowledge of relevant legislation The successful candidate will need to be able to cope with the physical and mental demands of the role whilst at the same time investing emotional effort to deal with conflicting and challenging situations.
