Magpie Recruitment is looking for a Commercial Finance Analyst with a proven track record in understanding sales operational data and transforming it into business insights. Sales Finance Analyst plays a critical role in providing their customers with the insight it needs to make informed decisions and reduce their risk. Sales Finance Analyst - Key Responsibilities: Account reviews: Analyse customer financial and performance data and generate business insights supporting our Sales and Trading teams in identifying and progressing essential information to assist with their regular new and existing account reviews and bespoke analysis requests Account reporting: Develop and maintain customer-facing performance reports Pipeline management: Provide planning and Pipeline management support to Sales and Account Management teams Sales forecasting: Assist with Sales and Trading teams with financial forecasting, planning and managing revenue risk and opportunities throughout the year Customer performance KPIs and dashboards: Working with the Corporate Sales and Trading Management teams develop and maintain a set commercial KPI’s, metrics and dashboards to support the commercial and product teams understand how our customer base is performing Build the analytical capability within the sales and trading teams: Support and guide sales and trading teams to access the data required for insight/analysis Sales Finance Analyst - What we’re looking for: ACA, ACCA OR CIMA qualified, Newly Qualified or Finalist: 1-2 years post qualification experience Experience in working with sales teams and directly with clients or at least a strong desire to work closely with customers to help them achieve desired results Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills to both technical and business stakeholders or clients Sharp analytical mind, enabling you to question, understand and articulate data in a simple but informative way An excellent understanding of managing data and gaining insight from sales systems Ability to liaise with stakeholders, understanding their needs and bringing data to life Highly numerate & analytical with excellent attention to detail
