Associate/Director PQS | Edinburgh | £55,000 - £65,000 DOE Your new company My client are a well known specialist surveying consultancy who have an excellent reputation in the industry, the company provide consultancy services all over the UK and have managed to build an impressive client portfolio with a good mixture in both the private and public sectors. The organisation are currently going through a very successful period are now in a position to offer a department leading role to an experienced Quantity Surveyor. Your new role You will be managing a team of 4 PQS's within the Edinburgh office, you will be responsible for project delivery and business development. The company will provide you with a range of projects to work on at various values in sectors such as Education, Residential and Commercial. You will be responsible for leading the department and providing full support to the surveyors in the team, all of which are MRICS. What you'll need to succeed Vast experience working for a consultancy in a PQS role, a good understanding and knowledge of the local market, experience supporting staff in progressing their careers, extensive technical experience and various sector experience. A driven, confident and enthusiastic personality, relationship building will be key to this role allowing you successfully to manage staff and clients.
