A new procurement role has become available in Manchester (with frequent travel) - a truly unique opportunity Your new company A progressive organisation in Manchester is seeking a Procurement specialist to join the team due to a period of sustained growth. Your new role As Procurement Officer, you will support the design & delivery of the Category Manager's wider strategy. You will strive to deliver social value to the organisation's clients and forge lasting commercial relationships with stakeholders. In this role, you will regularly undertake market analysis to keep updated with relevant market knowledge and be a credible professional when giving technical procurement advice. You will carry out end-to-end OJEU tenders and engage with suppliers daily. This particular role is based from home with regular travel required around the North-West - all necessary equipment will be provided to you. What you'll need to succeed You must have recent public sector procurement experience and be able to work independently. Whilst you will be part of a wider network and team, you will be based from home and you will be required to use your own vehicle to travel to meet suppliers and stakeholders. You MUST have your own car. What you'll get in return You will receive a competitive salary and you will be able to work from home every day You will get 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, as well as an additional 3 days to volunteer for a charity of your choice. You will receive a company pension and study support towards CIPS.
