A Credit Team Lead - Temporary position that allows an individual to take the helm of a team whilst working on some interesting and varied projects. Description The Credit Team Lead - Temporary role will have responsibilities that include: To assist the Credit Manager in line management responsibilities Provide monthly updates to the Finance and Operations Director on the management of the debt portfolio To manage a portfolio of existing and new customers for the purpose of controlling, reducing and maintaining debt Proactively carrying out debt reviews Managing the outstanding debt portfolio by focussing on key accounts Manage both the credit risk on company receivables and supplier credit for company liabilities Minimise the working capital requirement for Accounts Receivables Manage the customer ledger by ensuring accurate records are maintained for each customer Forecasting of AR Month End Balances Profile The successful Credit Team Lead - Temporary will have: Demonstrable experience in a similar credit control position - Essential Previous experience of managing and leading a team - Essential Microsoft Office skills namely Excel - Essential Ability to communicate with customers and staff at all levels of the organisation (essential) with excellent telephone manner To have negotiation skills in relation to credit control - Essential Highly motivated and have excellent technical report writing skills - Essential An eye for detail and be able to produce accurate results whilst working under tight time frames - Essential Previous VAT and Indirect Tax experience - Desirable A pro-active personality with an ability to take ownership of processes - Desirable Job Offer The opportunity to join a Pharmaceuticals giant in an interesting and varied role that allows for a transfer of skills.
