Description The Credit Controller - Temp to Perm will have responsibilities that include: To manage a portfolio of existing and new customers for the purpose of controlling, reducing and maintaining debt Achieve high volumes of daily credit control, documenting call activity - promised payments - instalments Log customer disputes, ensuring the level of detail is sufficient for analysing root cause issues Achieve high level collection results for nominated accounts Reducing and maintaining the aged debt position Maintaining cash flow for all company accounts and incoming money To provide speedy solutions for document requests Maintenance of company cards and processing of reconciliations Releasing orders in line with credit policy and updating list daily for stream stakeholders Process expenses via the accounting system Continuously driving an improvement process and working alongside the Accounts Department to improve and streamline the system Attend any meetings as required Profile The successful Credit Controller - Temp to Perm will have: Be immediately available and able to start - Essential Demonstrable experience in a credit control and accounts environment - Essential Ability to communicate with customers and staff at all levels of the organisation (Essential) with excellent telephone manner To have negotiation skills in relation to credit control - Essential Ability to prioritise work and deal with a number of ongoing projects - Essential Previous experience of using Accounting software, namely Excel - Desirable Institute of Credit Management member - Desirable A pro-active personality with an ability to take ownership of processes - Desirable Job Offer The opportunity to join the desirable Pharmaceuticals sector as a Credit Controller - Temp to Perm in an interesting and varied role that.
