Overview

Our client, a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Watford, has a new role for a Service Desk Engineer to join their IT Team supporting 3 offices in total. Duties include: Acting as the initial contact on all hardware and software support calls. Escalation of support calls and management of Helpdesk software. Configuration and installation of desktop and laptop computers. Responsibility for testing and deploying new hardware. On boarding of new users using Microsoft Active Directory and relevant applications. Manage the off boarding of users using checklists. Provide support for user and office relocations. Daily/weekly backup software management. Printer management and basic troubleshooting. Basic server management including Citrix Xenapp user support. Basic management of the telephone system. Occasional visits to other offices. To be considered for this role candidates will be familiar with the Microsoft Windows desktop environment and have IT Helpdesk experience The salary and benefits are generous for the successful candidate.
