Overview
We are assisting a leading local manufacturing company as they look to recruit a workshop operative to strengthen the team. Based in Scunthorpe Permanent position £9.00 p/h The role will involve physical assembly of mechanical and electrical parts using a variety of hand and power tools. Working to assembly instructions both mechanical and electrical. Familiar with electrical and mechanical testing regimes. Knowledge of health and safety and COSHH guidelines. Accuracy and quality of build are key for this industry. Assembly experience in a similar manufacturing facility is key. Must have proven experience of assembling to electrical diagrams. Confident with IT and Microsoft Office. Fork truck licence would be advantageous.
