Overview
Meraki Talent's global asset servicing business client in Edinburgh are currently looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst on an initial 12 month fixed term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to have a crucial position supporting and being the a lead on a complex strategic projects. This role require a very strong business analyst with experience leading large complex projects from a stakeholder and systems integration point of view. Although this is lead role it is not leading a function or large team, it a hands on role for someone who is project focused. Our client needs someone with excellent influencing skills and is able to bring everyone involved in the project together and move the project forward. The role will involve working with multiple areas of the business both operations and technology to ensure that all impacts of the change have been identified and fully documented within the remit of the Operating Model. The role holders will also be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects/sprints. Knowledge/Experience: Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of multiple system & process integration. Extensive practical knowledge in importing data for use in reporting metrics and process flow charts. We are interested to see people with Financial Services experience but we will also look at Technology, Utilities and Retail and other industries that have worked on complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of business analysis. Ability to identify and recognise relative importance and value of activities. (urgent/important prioritisation) Knowledge of project management techniques and tools Proven experience in strategic planning Experience of working on multiple projects and delivering to demanding deadlines. Skills: Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills Strong knowledge of market instruments and conventions Proficient in the use MS Project. Expert in Presentations and use of MS PowerPoint. Strong communicator able to liaise confidently with BAU Supervisors, Senior Managers and client contacts. A confident decision-maker with the ability to weigh up all potential options prior to making decisions. People Skills: A leader in nature and approach with strong emotional intelligence. Qualifications: Business Analyst qualifications and/or proven BA experience Qualification in project management or equivalent preferred but not essential.
