Do you have SVQ Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or are willing to work towards it. (Fully employer funded) If your answer is yes to the above questions Freespace Scotland is the place for you, in return, we will offer you a comprehensive 5-day induction. Training in Medication Administration, Epilepsy training through Epilepsy Scotland, Moving and handling to Scottish passport level and First Aid. We are currently looking for Care and Support Workers to join our dedicated team on a full time ( 39 hours per week) permanent basis at various locations in Edinburgh with the starting salary of £18,252 pa. Are you looking for a rewarding job, but you have other commitments, perhaps you can only work now and again or at weekends/certain times? We also have Care and Support Worker vacancies available on a £9.00 per hour rate. Additionally, we offer an 25% enhanced hourly rate for a waking night shift. Sleeping night shift , paid at the rate of £8.21 per hour. You will receive 30 days of annual leave (pro rata holiday pay for relief workers) which will increase after 5 years of continuous service.
