Overview
Our training facility based in Kemble are currently seeking a Learning Support Officer to join them on a permanent basis. As the second Learning Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting all areas of the company's apprenticeship programmes at any delivery site. The Learning Support Officer will be expected to travel when required, e.g. to another training facility in Humberside. Responsibilities: (in partnership with existing LSO) Oversee and control enrolment days and apprenticeship induction programmes across various locations throughout the UK. Collect, collate, analyse/check all relevant data ahead of enrolment and inductions as well as afterwards for tracking purposes. Conduct batch testing. Interview learners regarding failed exams, plan recovery and remedial instruction, record training outcomes (TOs) agreed with learner, brief Training Manager or Instructor, check remedial cover TOs. Act as Safeguarding Designated Person. Act as focal point for apprentice welfare. Provide support and planning for Apprentice Graduate Ceremony. Experience: Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are both required. Significant experience in supporting learners or counselling. Safeguarding, either as a designated lead or a designated person, preferably within a college or workplace (rather than a school). Strong verbal and written communication.
