Given the dynamic nature of the company the role will vary however the key duties will include: Analysis and reporting to present to the company executives at board level Management and development of finance team as the company continues to grow Responsibility for statutory accounts, tax and audit Develop a annual budgeting and forecasting process to ensure business performance remains a high standard Oversee and review cash flows and debt compliance Monitor process, performance and business plans on a regular basis in order to ensure strong company growth Prepare and supervise the year-end audit process and external audit Given the ambition of the business, in addition to the responsibilities listed above there will be a number of essential projects that the Financial Controller will be involved in that will be key to the continued success of the company. Our client is looking for somebody with a skill set that will enable the business to flourish despite the unpredictable and volatile market conditions. The key attributes they will be looking for include: Qualified accountant with at least five years post-qualification experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Experience within real estate is essential, ideally within a high volume market such as hospitality or retail Strong technical knowledge and experience of IFRS Proven track record of improve process and efficiency to assist the wider commercial business plans Innovative and forward-thinking attitude is crucial to this position Strong communication skills at all levels from junior staff to board level.
