Overview
As a Driver of Holybourne Day Centre you MUST have a D1 licence unrestricted, this means NO 101 code next to the D1 entitlement on your plastic licence, also a CPC Driver qualification licence. Holybourne Day Centre is an award winning day centre that takes care of older people with varying types of Dementia, every person lives in their own home with the support of carers and family and the Day Centre. The Day Centre is open 7 days a week including public holidays so you will be required to work occasional weekends and bank holidays. Holybourne is looking for a Driver to drive one of our mini busses on a split shift pattern 08:00 to 12:00 and 14:30 to 18:00 (20 hours per week). You must have a caring nature be very patient, flexible and willing to undertake other such duties as maybe required by the Day Centre Manager. You must undertake training as requested this will include dementia training. Demonstrates a proactive approach to all aspects of the role. Ensuring the vehicle checks are completed in line with VOSA regulations, you must maintain the vehicle in clean, roadworthy condition and carry out basic requirements e.g. tyre pressure, arrange and take the vehicle for services etc. Liaise with Maintenance person and or Total Motion for arranging all vehicles servicing and repair work as necessary. Responsible for the use and safekeeping of the Company fuel card and fuel purchasing records are completed including all fuel receipts. You will be required to take the busses to the authorised garage for safety inspection & servicing as required this could be as extra hours or change in shift times. On occasion, assist at other Local Four Seasons establishments.
