We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to work in the Occupational Therapy service at Cygnet Stevenage Medium secure hospital. The successful candidate will support the Occupational Therapists in delivering a high standard of evidenced based OT interventions and delivering a full activity timetable of group sessions based on Leisure, Self-care and productivity. Knowledge of the Recovery Model and Model of Human Occupation is desirable. The post holder will be expected to provide individual and group activities to support recovery and rehabilitation. Experience of supporting service users with mental illness is essential. We will provide clinical and managerial supervision by an Occupational Therapist and training opportunities to support professional development.
