Overview of the Systems Developer: As a Systems Developer you will work within the Infrastructure & Support Team providing application and software support to their internal employees and external customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple development tasks that come in from their automotive partners that require speedy resolutions. You will play a key part in support tasks which will include triaging service requests, liaising with clients to support their use of their software and to take any requirements they have. The development work of the role will focus on investigating and fixing issues / bugs, making functional changes to a range of systems and working on key projects to meet the business requirements. Responsibilities of the Systems Developer: Develop systems through work on small scale projects Promotion of quality within the software development team Investigate and resolve issues/tasks Assist with DevOps Maintain appropriate documentation Assist with triage of support tickets using the JIRA Helpdesk system Requirements of the Systems Developer: The Systems Developer needs to demonstrate a clear ability to prioritise work under pressure, manage complex technical tasks and know when to seek assistance. Communication is a key focus and you must be adept at building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders / clients. You will be working in an innovative ‘tech’ environment.
