ICT Systems Developer

Job Description
We are an ambitious and well-established housing group with deep roots in our three heartland areas of Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington. The ICT Team at Torus are going through an exciting time, striving to meet the evolving needs of the business. This is an important role in which you will: Be responsible for the management, development and continuous improvement of the Groups business applications and websites along with supporting ICT systems projects as identified in the ICT Strategy and ensuring applications deliver accurate, timely and measurable information. To be successful in this role you will: Have a degree level education or equivalent relevant IT development experience. You will also have proven experience of development of applications / websites in a large complex organisation and you will have experience of all or some of the following: * Some form of relational database - Progress / SQL / MySQL * Web programming experience, including PHP, Java, Javascript, HTML * Understanding methods of communication which includes SOAP and REST * BPM Toolkit About us: One of the largest landlords in the North West, we have 1,500 staff, manage more than 37,000 homes, support around than 64,000 customers and invest at least £5m a year into local communities and life changing causes .
