Overview
Finance Systems Director Central London Up to £110k 30% Bonus Equity Overview We're currently working with an internationally leading, multi-billion revenue brand to find an experienced and highly competent Finance Systems Director to join their team at their lively and fun working space in central London. The role will support IT finance systems implementations across the company, and will lead a small team to ensure that the integrations are completely in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will be a Hyperion expert with experience of working on an international scale, and who is comfortable taking the lead on detailed and often complicated implementations. The role Take the lead and become the owner of the company's financial systems strategy, keeping the business' overall targets and objectives in mind at all times Responsibility for ongoing improvements to financial systems, including update planning and identifying any suitable/necessary upgrades as required Lead the Finance Systems team and offer day-to-day support relating to both projects and the daily running of all financial systems across the company Lead any integration projects following any future acquisitions which may occur Close collaboration with the wider Finance team in order to assess and review the systems needs of the department, and to outline plans where necessary Day-to-day management of the Finance Systems team including: recruitment, performance reviews, guidance, advice and mentoring Ensure that the financial systems are all adequately recorded as per company policy, so that they are available for review whenever required in order to verify that they are operating in line with the company's overall objectives Take the lead on the relationships with all 3rd party suppliers, to ensure that everything is aligned with the company's commercial and strategic plan Confidently communicate with colleagues of various seniority levels, including high level executives Required skills/experience Extensive understanding of, and familiarity with, accounting practices Exposure to financial reporting involving multiple currencies Track record of leading successful high-level financial systems implementations Ability to outline and follow a detailed strategy with regards to financial systems Excellent finance systems knowledge and experience Comfortable building strong relationships with both finance and non-finance colleagues Confident communicator - including presentations to senior level colleagues Previous line management experience, including guiding and mentoring direct reports International experience an advantage Systems experience/knowledge Hyperion Oracle R12 Apex Kofax One Source Workday TM1 Concur ADP
