Emergent Requirements Prospero Teaching is working in association with Prospero Health and Social Care to recruit and hire Support Workers to work a range of support shifts in and around the area. Given current situations we are looking for experienced Key Workers in Health & Social Care to work across Residential Children and Care Homes across Dorset to start immediately. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, reliable workers to support where possible. Our client's provide a range of support for vulnerable adults and children, more often than not these service users will have learning difficulties and disabilities. To be considered for this role you must have previous experience and a passion to work in the care sector. Support Worker Contract/Position Details: Location - Bournemouth, Dorset Position - Agency Support Worker Type of work - Supporting vulnerable adults and children Start date - ASAP Likely Duration - Ongoing agency cover Position end date - Unknown Contract type - Temporary Full-time potential Minimum rate of pay - £11ph Hours - Day/Late/Waking night shifts Support worker Experience, Training and Qualifications: Experienced in a support work role Support service users in achieving positive and meaningful outcomes in line with person-centred plans. Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Health and Social Care if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months. You will need to have a calm and caring attitude Promote and ensure the well-being of vulnerable children, vulnerable adults, service users and staff including the safe administration, monitoring and recording of medication. Keep care records up to date in line with Ofsted requirements and best practice. To be eligible for any support work with Prospero Health and Social Care you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Possess an enhanced DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application. Provide two professional references, ideally proving relevant work.
