Job Description

Are you a Mental Health Support Worker looking for a post that is challenging, rewarding and puts the people we care for at the heart of what we do? We are looking to recruit a Band 3 Mental Health Support Worker to join our highly skilled team, nationally recognised by our peers and by service users for high standards of care. Preferably you will have at least one year of experience in mental health, and an interest in working with Mothers, their babies and families. Some experience of working with women with mental health difficulties and/or experience working with children preferred, but not essential. Training and mentoring in Perinatal Mental Health is available. This is a fixed term contract for one year. You will be required to undertake a Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression course and it is a condition of your employment that you successfully complete all aspects of this course; if this is not achieved you will not be able to commence working in the post.
