Overview
Avanti Recruitment are working with a Managed IT Services provider to recruit for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work within their Azure team based between their Reading and Staines offices. There is huge demand for their service at the moment so this is a great time to be joining them You will be joining their Azure DevOps team where your chief responsibility will be the managed service and ensuring their clients get the very best from the services they provide. You’ll be someone that has excellent knowledge and working experience of Azure and has ideally worked in both a Windows and Linux environment. As well as this, they’ll be looking for experience in the following; - Infrastructure as Code (they use Terraform, ARM and Kubernetes) - Powershell Scripting - Experience of working to DevOps methodologies such as SCRUM and sprints - Good knowledge of the Windows and Microsoft stacks - Strong networking skills - Excellent analytical and debugging skills - Good understanding of SQL Server and Databases Soft skills they are looking for include excellent communication and time management skills and being able to collaborate with colleagues and external parties across all levels to deliver and drive objectives.
