Overview
Our client, a full-service international law firm, is seeking a Real Estate Associate/Senior Associate to join their very highly regarded Real Estate team in Birmingham. About the role The successful Real Estate Associate/Senior Associate Executive will be based in the firm's Birmingham office which boasts a Real Estate team highly rated in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners. The firm's national Real Estate team provide a complete range of legal and advisory services on all aspects of commercial property and this role will be based in the Corporate Occupiers team primarily acting for Tenant estate management work for occupiers with large property portfolios. The firm have an enviable client base including retailers, financial institutions, hoteliers and public bodies. Daily work in this role will be varied and will include: - Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, renewal leases, licences and other estate management documents - Undertaking searches and due diligence on property transactions - Drafting reports on title and reporting directly to the client - Reviewing and negotiating contracts, raising and reviewing enquiries and reporting to the client on property investment matters About the person Given the nature of the work, you will be an experienced Real Estate Associate/Senior Associate with, as a guide, 3 years experience in Real Estate matters gained at a reputable firm. You will have excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail and due to the large volume of work you must be proficient at working in an organised and efficient manner. You will have sound drafting and negotiating skills and will thrive when problem solving.
