IT Technician Wakefield / Castleford Up to £19,300 Your new role Hays IT are currently recruiting for an IT Technician to join a busy IT team who are responsible for providing first and second line IT support to users throughout the organisation. The IT Services team runs and supports an advanced IT infrastructure, with Microsoft Windows 10 installed on over 2500 devices. Services and business applications are primarily hosted on Windows Server 2016 servers, in a Microsoft Hyper-V virtual environment. Responsibilities As an IT Technician, you will resolve technical problems to ensure a high standard of performance of IT facilities within the group. Day to day, this will involve responding to requests for assistance and technical support via the IT helpdesk, maintaining existing computers and peripherals by performing upgrades, new installations and carrying out routine procedures.
