Financial Controller | Creative Interior Design Studio | London Harmonic are delighted to be working with an innovative interior design and architecture studio in their search for a Financial Controller to work alongside the founder to improve efficiency and own the finance function. Completing projects across the UK and overseas, the business is being extremely well known in the industry due to their innovative and unique designs. The company itself is turning over around 4.5 million with very ambitious growth plans for the future. The ideal candidate for this role would be strategic, yet still very hands-on, being able to manage the entire accounting function as the sole person in finance. Despite being cash-rich, the business has maintained their non-corporate and collaborative culture. The company itself is extremely sociable, vibrant and fun. Despite their growth and increasing international expansion, they have maintained an SME feel with various drinks, events and dining experience for the whole team to attend. With plans to move into new premises, the office space is open plan and beautifully designed. You will be working alongside designers and architects as part of a close-knit team who are ambitious and creative. Responsibilities : Full responsibility for the finance function including managing the month-end process and reviewing management accounts Being responsible for the full budgeting and forecasting Improve the accuracy of financial modelling Providing leadership with insight into P&L Completing inter-company reconciliations Implementation of new finance systems and constantly looking to improve the current system Producing sales reports for the senior leadership team Working alongside the external accountants to provide data for payroll Manging a more junior member of the finance team Requirements : ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or qualified Excellent communication skills Experience in a similar role within an interior design or architecture Genuine interest in design SME experience Commercially astute Salary : £55,000- £60,000 dependent upon experience future bonus Start date : ASAP Please get in touch with Charlotte on for further information Please feel free to share this with any friends or colleagues who may be interested.
