Overview
Farrer Barnes is working with a Financial Services business based in North Kent. This organisation is an international company with millions of customers worldwide. They are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join them and reporting directly into the Head of Finance. Key Responsibilities & Duties: Deliver all internal and external financial reporting. Work in cross-functional collaboration to balance functional goals with what is best for the enterprise. Play the lead financial role for major projects and establish good working relationships with a number of stakeholders across the organisation. Manage and develop a small Finance Reporting team Improve documentation of finance processes Develop the Business Plan process to include high quality and relevant management information in the format required by UK business and International Head office Drive the Business Plan process to ensure that it is consistent in format and numbers with the current reporting and all necessary controls and governance have been complied with Maintain a good understanding of the UK Group’s strategic direction and impact on operational management and performance reporting needs Develop capital management processes with actuarial and investment team Work closely with other Senior departmental heads to deliver Business Plans. Monitor, report and consider management actions relating to finance risks with regards to risk appetite Ideally this candidate will be fully qualified with a practice background preferably from one of the big 4 firms. They should have an understanding of IFRS and Solvency II reporting and they should be familiar with FCA regulated environments.
