Overview
My client is an Alternative Investment Fund who operate within the real estate space, they have close to £500m AUM across various asset classes. Due to planned growth they require a Financial Reporting Manager to join them to manage Internal and external reporting, project and transaction work. Responsibilities will include: Financial reporting and administrative matters, with a focus on non-EU fund structures. Lead responsibility for supporting group fund management operations, including some accounting, payroll, FCA reporting and intra-office co-ordination. Key contact for service providers, including planning, coordination and oversight of their deliverables. Quarterly IFRS/Lux GAAP financial reporting of investment structures, including IFRS consolidation, project management and review of other deliverables. Assistance with project related work, including organisational, system or technical projects (I.e. restructuring, taxation etc.). Assistance with ad-hoc business or investor queries. This role will suit a qualified accountant who has a demonstrable track record within the private equity/real estate sector and comes from an audit background. You will have excellent IFRS reporting knowledge, you will be well versed in dealing with non finance professionals, internal and external stakeholders.
