SPECIAL NEEDS Teachers - September - Hillingdon September Start Hillingdon Remote interviewing Are you an experienced SPECIAL NEEDS Teacher who is looking for a new opportunity? The Role - SPECIAL NEEDS Teachers - September - Hillingdon Servoca education is currently still working with our SEN schools in North West London to ensure that they are suitably staffed for September despite the current challenges. We are currently recruiting for a secondary SPECIAL NEEDS school in Hillingdon that caters for children with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties. This school provides quality education for children with special educational needs and is looking for dedicated, experienced teachers to make a difference in the lives of the children. Due to the current climate with regards to travelling, we have confirmed with our schools that they would be able to have a skype / telephone interview in at least the first instance until it is deemed safe and practical to visit the school in person. The Candidate - SPECIAL NEEDS Teachers - September - Hillingdon Qualified Teacher Status Previous experience of teaching students with SEN (ASD/SLD/PMLD) Able to plan affective lessons and differentiate based on each child's individual needs Aware of the procedure with regards to safeguarding in a school environment Reliable & punctual Ability to risk assess and follow instructions Ability to develop rapport with SEN individuals Playful, patient and calm with a desire to get the best out of individuals with SEN Knowledge of TEACCH / SCERTS / BSQUARED would be advantageous SPECIAL NEEDS Teachers - September - Hillingdon You will be responsible for teaching a small class of around 6-12 students with special educational needs and will have support staff to assist with this.
