Overview
A Senior Support Worker is required a leading learning disability supported living service in Oxford. Its supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. Various shift patterns are available including early shifts, late shifts and sleep ins and nights. The salary starts at £17,500-£22,500 plus some great company benefits. You will be supporting the managers and leading a team of support workers acting as a role model for the team, this would be a great position for an experienced support worker that wants to take the next step in their career. You must be a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. There is a great training programme and options for career development, shopping and restaurant vouchers and the chance to complete NVQ's to enhance your skillset. This is a highly rewarding support role, encouraging people to develop independence as well as providing care and support. Duties include supporting around the house, helping with outings and activities, supporting with medication and mealtimes and daily chores. Applicants will need to be trained and experienced in care and support work, ideally with experience of working with learning disabilities or autism.
