Overview
We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company. Establish a clear view on our digital proposition recognising both in-channel expertise and cross-channel integration and delivery Provide the business with a clear view on in-housing, where we as MediaCom can play a critical role and a strategy for how we win back digital scope on our existing clients Build a roadmap and business case for how we should continually evolve and grow our digital capability to stay ahead of the market (new digital practices, capabilities etc.) Establish new digital products and services for our clients that will keep us ahead of the market and generate incremental revenue for the business Create operational agency standards with i n digital that both improve output and minimise the unnecessary and costly repetitive tasks Drive adoption/ development of tools and systems that can improve efficiency and drive more effective output (e.g. automation tools e.g. Marvin) Own/ manage the relationship with key platform partners to develop unique access that will give our clients incremental benefit Establish a r elationship with WPP partners to ensure we are utilising existing expertise which we can learn from or work with (e.g. Acceleration) Work with the Head of Platform Strategy to Identify the T op 10 clients and work with the Business Group Heads/ Digital Data Partners to build out digital roadmaps that will put MC at the top table in digital / marketing conversations Build deep relationships with our key digital clients and be accountable for the digital transformation of these clients Keep ahead of developments and innovation across the digital landscape and establish a MediaCom POV that can be quickly understood and embedded across the agency. Take a lead in driving new ways to engage with our clients through the press and speaking events to establish the MediaCom narrative Build a senior team of channel specialists that operate as a collaborative digital function leading our xxx-strong digital team Support this team in establishing best-in-class channel specialism and a strong specialist culture/ community that sits within each of the business group Support and mobilise the Business Group Heads to develop digital roadmaps Work with the Business Group Heads to ensure digital leadership is driven down from the top of the organisation Identify and build business cases for new digital capability required to create leadership in the market Respected and sought out by the industry as expert A visionary leader with the ability to inspire our specialists Technical capability – a strong understanding of all digital channels and the role digital plays for brands Aligns people to accomplish results and assigns clear accountability Resilience and calm in the face of adversity and builds resilience in others A change agent Embraces and manages ambiguity and complexity Ability to influence the most senior and demanding clients/partners/internal stakeholders to gain commitment and drive decisions Challenges the status-q uo and prepared to i nstigate tough conversations if need be Builds and uses extended networks of influence Advanced commercial acumen with the ability to c reatives revenue opportunities to drive profitability Significant pitch experience with high levels of g ravitas , e xuding confidence and “grace under fire” , and the ability to command a room
