Head Chef – Birmingham Hotel Head Chef required for this busy Wedding Venue and Events Hotel in Solihull. Job Title: Head Chef Location: Solihull Salary: up to £40,000 per annum including benefits. Employer: Wedding Venue Hotel in Solihull Various outlets and focus on fresh food, including afternoon teas and events Restaurant offering Lunch and Dinner to residents and non-residents alike Part of a large company with lots of opportunity for growth Candidate: Experienced Head Chef from a 4 Hotel background Experience in managing teams across a multi-site venue Experienced in recruitment, training, development and day to day management of a team of up to 20 chefs Experienced Head Chef or Senior Sous from a fresh food catering background, experience in weddings and events ideal. Job Role: You will be managing the purchasing and supplier agreements for all dry supplies at the hotel Designing and writing all menus for the Restaurant, events and casual bar areas Working with other department managers to forecast and plan for the best development of the business Day to day management of staff, training, planning and Rotas Maintaining the excellent scores on Environmental Health and the excellent reputation for quality food and service. This role is ideal for an existing Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef and Sous Chef from a similar background.
