Overview
Brilliant opportunity for an ambitious Accountant to join a medium sized Private Equity business, as a Senior Accountant / Controller. This is a very interesting business with some market-leading partners and has a very exciting future and will give the successful candidate an opportunity to be involved in business growth, setting up new entities and all aspects of financial control and reporting. Based in Central London and reporting to the MD you will take full responsibility for all aspects of a small Finance team, Financial Reporting, Control, Analysis and various other project duties. Key Responsibilities: Management of one Part-Qualified accountant Full responsibility for Financial Accounting, Consolidations, Statutory Accounting Management of the GL, cash and bank reconciliations Responsible for all VAT and Corporation Tax Some investment analysis responsibilities Setting up new off-shore entities in various locations Full responsibility and accountable for P&L - Responsible for all forecasting, budgeting and support to Senior Management in delivering budgeted profit for the year Business Analysis for all new & existing contracts / commercial developments Experience Needed: ACA/ACCA Qualified Minimum of 2 years Post Qualified Experience Ideally qualified from a medium-sized practice Ideally have experience in Financial Services / Professional Services Confidence to present to senior investment colleagues A ‘meeting room’ presence You will have gravitas and not be afraid of making high level, high value commercial decisions. You must be a first class communicator, with the ability to challenge and influence at all levels.
