Overview

FMCG Organisation currently seeks a Qualified Finance Manager to join their team in West London. The Finance Manager will manage the company’s financial accounting, reporting and other financial affairs of the business through the management of the company’s finance function and all key outputs of that team. It’s essential that the candidate has solid FMCG sector experience. Duties of the Finance Manager include:  Management of the finance team ensuring the team is appropriately resourced, skilled, developed and managed in line with company processes and procedures, including regular reviews, appraisals, coaching, development and 1-2-1 individual meetings.  Responsible for all aspects of the company’s day to day financial operations and accounting across the month, through to control of the entire month end accounting and reporting process resulting in delivery of complete and accurate consolidated management accounts pack.  Ensure accurate cash flow management and company compliance with banking covenants, through regular cash flow reporting and forward forecasting.  Oversight and management of all the Company’s banking matters, from managing day-to-day supplier payments through to dealing with the extensive monthly bank reporting and audit requirements from the Company’s bank lenders  Manage the credit control function  Responsible for the annual company statutory audit, and bank audits, from liaising with auditors to ensure all reports and relevant information is provided in a timely manner, resulting in successful clean audits with no management issues raised.  Responsible for the statutory accounts preparation.  Supporting the company’s working capital targets, providing relevant reporting on working capital balances, challenging working capital numbers, particularly around the management of customer debtors and creditors  Ensuring complete tax compliance across VAT, corporation tax, PAYE and other taxes as relevant, ensuring the team submit all statutory returns accurately and in a timely manner.  Other ad hoc financial management tasks and support as required and overseeing all finance aspects of the business. Support the FD in other key business matters such as the business insurances, bank relationships and general cost management. Knowledge/Experience required for the Finance Manager:  Team leadership skills, experience of managing and developing a cohesive high performing team, 
