Overview

Commercial Asset/Finance Analyst Full Time-Permanent Congleton My client are a well known and hugely successful family run business. Due to growth they are now seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join the business at a pivotal point contributing to the growth of the business. Working with the existing Commercial Analyst you will be responsible for the following: Input & maintain accuracy of the fixed asset register Extract information when needed Provide monthly information to the Financial Controller e.g. depreciation, disposals, HP Interest for production of the management accounts Reconcile the FAR & HP to SAGE on a monthly basis Assist with internal & external audits Update entries to SAGE and amended figures where relevant to update proactively. Asset sale/purchase entries into SAGE e.g. HP journals / re-occurring / settlements Ensure registers up to date and provide directors and managers with the information they need Enter and track asset purchases and used sales to ensure they are correctly recorded in SAGE Assist with production of budgets & forecasts for the business Preparation of information for meetings with customers & suppliers Providing reports and feedback to the managers on the performance of their departments Summarise various data and present it into reports for ease of use Assisting to develop and implement processes & solutions. Provide assistance to the financial controller and directors with other accounts matters as and when needed. Skills/Experience: Highly analytical Highly proficient with excel with the ability to put together & maintain complex spreadsheets which are clear to understand. Must have experience with Pivots, Lookups and Sumifs. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills both written and verbal Ideally at least 2 years accounting knowledge with proven experience with accounts & SAGE Experience with asset management and finance preferable but not essential Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines For further information on this or any of our other vacancies, please call the Chester office today for a confidential discussion or alternatively forward your CV and cover letter.
