THE ROLE The Financial Adviser role’s primary purpose is to sell a brand new Investment Service to the employees of a portfolio of corporate clients through a mixture of Group Presentations and One to One meetings, as well as through other communication channels, i.e. telephone, email and in writing. The Financial Adviser role can be home-based, with a requirement to visit the company’s offices once a week. The Financial Adviser’s key duties will include: Arranging meetings with group scheme members either directly with the individual or in conjunction with the Client Relationship Manager. Communication of the Investment Service to existing pension scheme members through a combination of Group Presentations and Individual One to One meetings. Fact finding, assessing the client’s attitude to risk and identifying areas of shortfall in a client’s financial plan and where gaps are identified, making appropriate recommendations. Conducting member review meetings at the client’s premises for all Investment Service clients. Use of all appropriate provider tools in the delivery of focused personal advice/guidance to the employee or member.
