Overview
Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Salary: £22,000 to £24,500 Start: ASAP Location: Borehamwood Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5.30pm Our Client a market leader in their industry is looking for an experienced candidate to support the Logistics team in the Borehamwood. This role will provide administrative support to the customers and distributors of the business. Responsibilities Check the status of incoming deliveries and inform related parties accordingly Manage the transportation of products to the UK ports in accordance with agreed timescales Support Sales Admin team members with checking orders are correct prior to products being sent to customers, as and when required Verify invoices from suppliers and depots for ranges of charges including products received, storage and transport Ensure consignment details remain accurate at all times to include quantities/ arrival dates etc. Manage the creation of consignments correctly onto systems Ensure ongoing communication with transport providers Experiences and Skills Strong logistics skills (office based) Must have experience with SAP Previous Excel experience is essential- V-lookups, Pivot table knowledge Methodical and highly organised Previous experience handling large sets of data Good communication skills You will need to have a positive and pro-active attitude to your work, be conscientious, willing to assist in all areas and be a team player Crisp Recruitment Ltd is a local recruitment consultancy based in Borehamwood.
