Overview
Job title: Quality Inspector Job type: Permanent Location: Hook Salary: £21,000 to £24,000 depending on experience Hours: 8am to 4pm Global Engineering company in Hook are seeking an Inspector on a Permanent basis. Inspector Responsibilities: - Using written work instructions and items lists to inspect products to customer specifications and IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3 to ensure the quality of the product - Inspecting PCBs using magnification equipment - Liaising with the Quality department - Liaising with Team Leaders / PCB Assemblers to discuss faults and findings - Complying with all 5S activities as required Qualifications/Experience of the Inspector: - Ability to work to written instructions/Engineering drawings and bills of materials - IPC certifications are desirable - Experience in PCB inspection is required - Understanding of component identification codes such as resistors, capacitors and ICs - High attention to detail and accuracy - Flexible and proactive approach - Able to respond to changes in demand and meet tight deadlines If you're interested in the Inspector role click apply now Orion Electrotech Ltd acts as both an Employment Business and Employment Agency and complies with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations Act 2003.
