Overview
Waste Manager Contract Wakefield Your new company This is a large clinical waste site that requires immediate support in the team due to the impact of Corona Virus. They provide support and training to ensure you are following safety procedures and are protected. Your new role You will be managing a team of 2 people working in a depot and office environment. You will manage 15 waste streams in an acute healthcare environment, coordinating collections, supplies and communicating with departments on a regular basis. You will also ensure that staff provide a courteous front of house service and promote a safe working environment. This role also requires you to manage the waste contracts from a financial and compliant stand point. This contract is envisaged to be 6 months to begin with. What you'll need to succeed You will have completed health and safety training. You will also have an awareness of the policies and procedures surrounding waste, ideally clinical. You will have the ability to support a team and communicate with a variety of stakeholders in a large organisation. You will be adaptable and willing to develop your skills to fit the ever shifting context.
