Overview
Communicate are working with a rapidly growing Pharmaceuticals manufacturing company, currently on a huge growth trajectory, in need of a Finance to head up a thriving finance function based in central London. This exceptional growth mimicked with an increased share price and recent investment from a private equity firm allowing them to begin the planning for new and exciting projects in the coming year. The Finance Director will have extensive responsibilities across the finance function overseeing the day-to-day running of the function, whilst leading on a strategic level and supervising of a planned acquisition. The successful candidate will possess ambition to drive themselves and the company forwards and strong leadership skills underpinning all as the role reports into the CFO who in turn sits on the board handling investor relations. The correct candidate will be ACA/CIMA qualified, have relevant sector experience, either Manufacturing/Pharma based experience. A Finance Director position previously held is desirable but not essential and experience leading teams autonomously will be looked upon favourably. During these uncertain times, we currently face our client are willing to press on with the process and conduct video interviews where necessary. Key responsibilities: Creating and implementing mid and long term financial models Heading up M&A projects Creating and applying a long term business strategy Overseeing all appropriate financial controls Full autonomy of forecasting, budgeting and cash flow controls Development of new business opportunities
