What you’ll do To aid in the development, creation and deployment of Quark templates and features to allow SME’s to efficiently author content in a structured manner. Working with various technologies, including XML, HTML, VBA and Javascript. The post holder will be at the forefront of our Quark development as we bring this work in-house and work closely with the rest of the Group to include their requirements. Role requirements You must have commercial experience in the following technologies; HTML/CSS/JavaScript/JQuery and XML/XSLT as well as in XML/HTML/CSS editing & writing. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for technology and education. You must have understanding and experience of content management systems. You are expected to have experience of learning technologies including rapid development tool and data entry. You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills as well as a keen eye for detail. Flexibility in your approach to and within a rapidly changing environment is essential. Prior experience in manipulating images, eLearning standards (e.g. SCORM, Tin can API), agile methodologies and technologies (e.g. Scrum, Jira), code repositories (e.g. SVN), and database technologies (MySQL, Graph) is required.
