Overview

We are representing a leading private equity company based in the City that is looking to hire a recently qualified ACA. This is to join as a Fund Accountant in their growing Finance team. Alongside standard fund accounting you will get exposure to investment performance monitoring, financial due diligence and fund structuring; acting as a business partner to a variety of teams including the front office and investor relations. Some of the responsibilities include: Production of fund management information including reporting on investment performance and monitoring the introduction of new investments to ensure that investment returns are as expected or optimised. Production of investor quarterly reports Administration of investor drawdowns, distributions, equalisations and general investor reporting (quarterly) including ad hoc information requests as necessary, including derivation and interrogation of metrics and production of investor-facing reports Interrogation of financial models and collation of investment reports to monitor and evaluate project performance Liaise with the commercial team to assess the impact of new investments and financings on asset and fund performance Managing and mentoring a Finance Assistant The company itself has a track record of developing talent internally through offering progression and lateral exposure throughout the business. This has enabled them to retain staff and as such a family culture has transcended throughout the entire business. Remuneration will be around the £55,000 mark and bonuses are industry leading. The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified ACA, ideally with exposure to investment management or funds in their audit clients however this is not a necessity; more important is aptitude, drive and ambition.
