Overview
Our client based in the Birmingham area are currently looking for a Transport Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. You must be able to think logically to work out effective route plans and timings. You must also complete general transport clerk duties for a small fleet of vans including; Assess impacts of all potential implications and develop solutions to problems such as congestion Preparing reports and analysing data Ensure all routes are planned efficiently and to customer timed delivery requirements Taking into consideration vehicle sizes Key skills required; You must be logical thinking You must be able to think quickly Good organisational skills Good computer skills Be able to work on your own initiative If you feel you have the right skills and experience, apply now stating why you would be suitable for this position.
